HZPC poseduje modernu selekcionersku stanicu u mestu Metslawier u kojoj se vrši selekcija i razvoj sorata za različite klimate i različite tržišne sektore. Svake godine se novi klonovi i sorte šalju na ogledna polja širom planete na kojima se ispituju sve važne karakteristike sorte. HZPC ima portfolio od preko 90 različitih sorti krompira raspoređenih u različite tržišne sektore, TRADITIONAL, RETAIL FRESH, CRISPS, FRENCH FRIES, ORGANIC, PEELED.

HZPC with more than hundred years of experience in potato growing employs 370 people in nineteen countries. Exports of the seeds material to around 80 countries amounts 80% of the production. In its modern selecting station in Metslawier HZPC selects and develops potato sorts for different climates and markets. Every year, new clones and sorts are distributed to the experimental fields all over the world where important characteristics are tested.
